The grass is easier for animals to digest, and some argue that this diet is better for the environment. While there aren’t any long-term studies on the benefits of grass-fed beef, it contains significantly more omega-3s.  It also has more fats.

In this instance, while not exactly the healthiest, the fats create more flavor, and the higher fat content results in a juicier burger. One-third of a pound is the perfect size for most buns, and the taste is unmatched.

We’ve tried them all, and we liked the grass-fed variety the best. They were easily named “the best Costco burgers” in our household.

Brown meat inside a hamburger is a common issue. Most of the time, the inside changes color due to a lack of oxygen. It’s not a cause for concern.

Oxygen reacts with the pigments in the meat called oxymyoglobin, creating a bright red color. You will find this substance if all warm-blooded animals.

Now, if the outside changes to brown or grey, it’s likely going bad, and it’s best to toss it, according to the USDA. It’s also essential to lead your senses lead and get rid of any meat that doesn’t smell right.

We have not seen fresh burger patties in the warehouse recently. There are many fresh ground beef options that you can make some burgers from, or there are excellent Costco frozen burgers.

Frozen burgers maintain the taste and fat just as well as fresh burger patties. They also have a longer shelf life, with most maintaining freshness for at least six months.

The biggest downside to frozen burgers is that you can’t impart flavor to the inside of the burger. You can sprinkle on your favorite seasoning while cooking, but you can’t change the taste of the interior.

How To Make The Best Costco Frozen Burgers Taste Better

The biggest downside to frozen burgers is that you cannot impart flavor inside. But you can season the meat to make frozen burgers taste better.

We recommend about 1 ½ tablespoons of seasoning for every four hamburgers. Once they are on the grill, Sprinkle it on the side facing you. Add some to the other side after flipping.

As for the best seasonings to use, there are so many options! Besides the general salt and pepper, you can try garlic powder, season salt, or Montreal steak seasoning. Our favorite is Bad Byron’s Butt Rub Seasoning. This cheeky blend adds the perfect flavor.
