    Costco Palmiers Review

We recently tried Costco’s palmiers from Sugar Bowl Bakery, and they quickly became a household favorite. These delicate pastries were an absolute delight, pairing perfectly with a hot cup of coffee or tea. What stood out most was their balanced sweetness – not too sugary, making them an excellent choice for various occasions.

Surprisingly versatile, I even let my little ones enjoy them for breakfast on a few occasions.

One of the most impressive aspects of Costco’s palmiers was their unexpected shelf life. The large container held up surprisingly well, lasting almost two weeks in our household.

However, it’s worth noting that these palmiers aren’t low in calories, so moderation is key for those mindful of their intake. The container size might be a bit much for every day, but it’s perfect for special occasions or holiday gatherings. We found them an excellent addition to a homemade cookie platter, adding a touch of sophistication to the spread.

To change things up, dip half of the palmiers in melted chocolate to take them to the next level. This simple addition transforms them into an extra special treat that impresses guests or satisfies a chocolate craving.

Costco Palmiers exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re looking for a daily indulgence, a holiday treat, or a sophisticated addition to your dessert spread, these palmiers are a delicious and versatile choice. Just be mindful of the calorie content if you’re watching your intake, and consider getting creative with a chocolate dip for an extra special touch.

How Long Do Costco Palmiers Last?

Longevity was a concern of mine before purchasing. These flaky palmiers lack preservatives, but that doesn’t mean they have a short shelf life. I bought a package on November 3; they were still fresh when we ate the last one on November 15. Our estimate is they are suitable for two weeks before their quality degrades.
