These are great if you are looking for an appetizer similar to what you’d get at American Chinese Food Restaurant. We love the flavor, and the added crunch from pan-frying takes them over the top.
They take some time to prepare, between boiling and frying, but it’s worth it. They have a simple flavor that’s not complex, and most palates will enjoy it.
The included dipping sauce is worth using. The intense flavor is better than traditional soy sauce and complements it well.
