Get ready to discover various delicious options that will elevate your Oktoberfest party to a new level.

The fall festival of Oktoberfest is quite an affair. It is celebrated over three weeks, starting in the middle of September and running until the first week of October. Each year, over six million people take part in the festivities. Here are some great ideas to host a Costco Oktoberfest Party.

    German Beer Costco

Only six breweries are granted space in the large festival halls. The Official Oktoberfest beers are brewed according to strict guidelines set by the Bavarian Purity Law, or Reinheitsgebot, meaning they must contain only three ingredients: water, hops, and malted barley. We’ve found three approved brands in the warehouse: Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräu, and Paulaner.

Paulaner Best of Munich Variety Bottles, 11.2 oz, 24-count

This variety pack includes four types of beer.
    1. Hefe Weizen – This is the number one wheat beer in Germany. It’s naturally cloudy and silky gold in the glass and has a strong head of foam.
    2. Munich Lager — This beer is mild with a hint of sweetness. It’s great with spicy dishes.
    3. Salvator Double Bock — This Costco German Beer has a strong malty flavor.
    4. Oktoberfest — This beer is only brewed once a year. It is golden, full-bodied, and mellow.

    Hofbrau Oktoberfest Mini Keg

Guests will love the keg it comes in and the full-bodied lager, which offers a delicate hops aroma and well-balanced flavor. The 5L mini keg contains enough for 10 pints (16 ounces each).

    Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen

For many years in Germany, beermaking wasn’t allowed during the summer because the process could potentially cause fires. In response to the warm weather ban, brewers made a stronger Marzen beer that would last until September, just like this German Beer at Costco that’s smooth and honey-colored.

Costco Oktoberfest Food — Main Dishes

    Costco Bratwurst

    Costco Bratwurst

A Costco Oktoberfest celebration would only be complete with some bratwurst. The warehouse sells 3.5 pounds for $8.99. Each link is ¼ pound, meaning the package contains 16. The best way to cook Costco Bratwurst is to simmer in a few cups of beer for 10-12 minutes, then place on the girl for 5-10 minutes. You want to make sure the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

    Roast Chicken

Even though many people equate sausage with an Oktoberfest celebration, roasted chicken is another popular meat served during the festivities. Instead of heating the oven, grab an iconic rotisserie chicken. It’s a crowd-pleaser, and be sure to buy a second one there to freeze for another dinner

    Costco Soft Pretzels

Pretzels started in Germany in the 1400s as they were known as a symbol of good luck and lifelong prosperity. They remain a popular Oktoberfest food to this day. We love the Artisanal Soft Pretzels From Eastern Standard Provisions, which come in three sizes and provide options for every appetite. Serve these Costco soft pretzels on a large board with plenty of German mustard for dipping.

    Costco Spaetzel

This German pasta is a buttery blank canvas, making it the ultimate side dish for any meal, and its Bavarian roots make it ideal for an Oktoberfest feast. Add some chopped parsley or shredded cheese to amp up the flavor, or leave it plain to complement the more robust taste of your other dishes. Costco Spaetzle from Zak’s Tavern is fully cooked and only needs minutes in the microwave before it’s on your dinner table.
